Funding for Respite Care

There are a variety of programs that may be used for funding respite care. Most of these programs are age/disablility specific, and the eligibility requirements vary. Many programs have waiting lists.

Most government funded programs are administered at the county level. The point of contact to apply for government funded respite care is usually at your county human services department or agency on aging.

There are several community-based agencies in Wisconsin that may provide funding for respite to those families who don't qualify for government funded programs.

For more information about the options available in your community, call us at 608-222-2033, toll-free at 866-702-7229, or email us.
